We are seeking an experienced People Partner to join our dynamic People Team! In this pivotal role, you'll lean on your prior experiences to collaborate closely with managers to become a trusted advisor, providing invaluable guidance and support on all things people-related. From ensuring compliance with employment laws to fostering DEI, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and productive work environment. To accomplish this, the People Partner role is required to be in-office on a 4-day hybrid weekly schedule Monday through Thursday.What You Will Do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR-related matters and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage policy and procedure creation, updates, ensuring compliance, and providing interpretation and guidance to employees and managers.
  • Lead the performance management process including advising managers and addressing performance-related issues.
  • Partner with employee committees, including DEI and social committees, to drive meaningful impact across the organization.
  • Manage employee relations activities, including conducting investigations when warranted, addressing employee concerns, and resolving conflicts in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Partner in Career Development initiatives, including creating and updating competencies, job descriptions, and succession planning programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Partner in the semi-annual performance review process, ensuring timely and effective performance evaluations and calibration sessions.
  • Create and lead company-mandatory training initiatives, both in-person and virtual training formats.
  • Manage termination protocols and conversations, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate on system implementation and enhancements with a focus on optimizing HR processes and improving user experience.
  • Partner on HR and Finance audit requests.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and participate in special projects as assigned.Who We Are Looking For:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of direct and proven human resources experience in a generalist capacity, with a focus on HR business partnering, policy creation, employee relations, and driving an inclusive workplace.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex HR issues and provide effective solutions.
    • Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
    • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and employment laws.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and establish trust with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
    • Proficiency in using HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.Bonus Points If You Have:
      • Experience in implementing and managing employee engagement and retention programs.
      • Experience in conducting training and workshops on HR-related topics.
      • Knowledge of compensation programs, including benchmarking, job evaluation, and salary administration.
      • Experience implementing and managing systems and solutions.
      • Professional certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR).

Actual salaries are just one component of the compensation package and may vary above or below the range based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographical location, and performance. The pay range for this position located in Seattle is $85,000 - $125,000 per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short-and long-term incentives, and other team-specific awards.
