Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Backend and Data Engineer
specializing in Java, Spark, and Cassandra.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and support features in a legacy Java/Cassandra platform
and a new data-centric solution
Work on a SCRUM team to manage products and services from
refinement to production support
Contribute to tooling and machine learning efforts within the card
technology organization
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in a production environment, with 3+ years
in backend services using Java
Hands-on experience with Spark or other Big Data technologies
Production-ready experience in a serverless environment
3+ years of experience with any NoSQL database, including 1+ year
with Cassandra
Experience orchestrating pipelines in AWS, GCP, or Azure
