Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join
our team as the Head of IT Service Management (ITSM). In this
pivotal role, you will lead and manage our internal IT Service
Management function, being responsible for overseeing the
consumption and optimization of internal IT services provided by
various departments. You will ensure that IT services are
effectively utilized to meet business needs, deliver maximum value,
and align with organizational objectives. It includes strategic
planning, budgeting, governance, and performance management of the
internal service portfolio.What you do
- Build and lead a dedicated IT Service Portfolio Management
team, covering various areas of IT services like IT workplace,
networks, business platforms, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement and professional growth.
- Promote the transfer of knowledge, skills, and experience
within the team to enhance the effectiveness and agility of IT
operations.
- Guide your team with a focus on their development and
well-being, supporting the agile transformation and significantly
shaping the organization.
- Analyze existing IT service portfolio and define target IT
services portfolio and introducing new services based on the
business demands and needs.
- Ensure the use of the standard/target services, removing
redundancies and decommission legacy services.
- Plan and budget service portfolio ensuring effective usage,
manage consumption of IT services optimizing their volumes and
costs.
- Improve ITSM processes throughout service lifecycle.
- Monitor and manage risks, dependencies, and constraints related
to service consumption to minimize impact on business
operations.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to the Allianz Group and market
standards and regulations (e.g. DORA, VAIT).
- Track and report on the performance of the IT service
portfolio, including service consumption metrics, financial
performance, and value delivery.
- Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the success of IT service
consumption and drive continuous improvement.
- Work with internal/external IT service providers.
- Collect business demands throughout the company - supporting
introduction of new service.
- Conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders to assess service
consumption and make informed decisions.What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business
Administration, or a related field (Master's degree
preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior IT service portfolio management
role, preferably within a large and complex IT environment.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks,
methodologies, and best practices (e.g., ITIL).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and improve
service consumption performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with service portfolio management tools (preferred
