Position Summary:
The P2 Project (The Pregnancy Prevention Project) at Children's Aid
aims to reduce and prevent the incidence of unintended adolescent
pregnancy in its priority areas in NYC by providing young people
with the holistic tools to meet their greatest potentials through
evidence-based sexuality education, comprehensive reproductive
health services, and peer health education. The main objectives of
the program are:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager and OPA Program
Coordinator, the OPA Program Health Educator works to meet the
objectives described above by providing outreach and sexual health
education and outreach to children, adolescents, and adults in
Manhattan and the Bronx.
