The physical therapist uses skilled observation or the administration and interpretation of standardized or non-standardized tests and measurements to identify areas for physical therapy services. Physical therapy services include, but are not limited to::Physical Therapist Qualifications: Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a physical therapist: Prior experience in Skilled Nursing, preferred: Member of state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferred: Professional attitude and appearance: Proficient administrative and public relations skills: Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in physical therapy: Thorough knowledge of the possible hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures: Demonstrate emotional stability in order to cope with the demands of both patients and employees: Must maintain patient and employee confidentiality: Knowledge of Medicare and third party reimbursement, preferred: Successful completion of the academic requirements of an educational program in physical therapy which has been approved for the educational preparation of physical therapists by the appropriate accrediting agency:by Jobble
